AFFN Film

A cinematic gem from the past.

This joint activity focuses on the distribution of rediscovered and restored archive titles within the scope of each festival’s year-round activities. It is conducted in collaboration with European archives, sales agents and art-house distributors.

AFFN Education

A path to cinema.

The educational activities within the network aim to offer the young audience a way to discover, understand, and learn about the history and language of cinema. Selected archive topics will be discussed within the network and presented during the festivals. These topics will be packaged in a way that there will be accompanying educational material for adults to guide the young audiences.

AFFN Industry

Circulation of archive films.

The industry activities within the network are designed to strengthen the circulation of archive titles in the field of exhibition as well as spark discussion across borders with other festivals beyond the network. Actions will offer expertise and tools which will endorse fresh modes of presentation for European archive titles, thus giving them a new lifespan.
